Marcel Tinazzi was a great cycling champion in the 1970s. Born in North Africa in 1953 to an Italian father and French mother, Marcel Tinazzi made a very interesting debut by taking the title of champion of France in front of Bittinger and Chalmel in 1977.

Marcel Tinazzi was a great cycling champion in the 1970s.
Born in North Africa in 1953 to an Italian father and French mother, Marcel Tinazzi made a very interesting debut by taking the title of champion of France in front of Bittinger and Chalmel in 1977. In 1980, he won the Tour de l'Aude, and two years later also the Bordeaux-Paris, a competition that obviously suited him well considering he came in 5th in 1981 and 4th in 1983. Also interesting are his placings in the world championships of 1973 (6th) and 1975 (4th). In 1983, he won the Ronde d'Aix-en-Provence and at the end of the year was elected president of the UNCP, the Union of French professional cyclists.
In 1986, Marcel Tinazzi moved to Italy for sentimental reasons and set up the company MS Tina.
